Cleaning operatives

We are seeking dedicated and reliable cleaning operatives to join our team on a zero hour cleaning cover basis. GCS Services have a large cleaning base across Surrey and South London. There will be options for permanent job roles as and when we obtain new cleaning contracts.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across designated areas, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for our clients and staff. The sites can vary from communal cleaning, office cleaning and commercial cleaning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine cleaning tasks as assigned, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and sanitising surfaces.
• Empty trash bins and replace liners.
• Clean and sanitise restrooms, replenish supplies as needed.
• Follow cleaning schedules and ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner.
• Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns to the supervisor promptly.
• Adhere to health and safety policies and procedures at all times
• Maintain a professional appearance and behaviours at all times.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with supervisors.
